$85 per hour for individuals, discount packages available
Couples: $105 per hour. Small groups: from $110 per hour

We make a plan. I tailor lessons based on what you actually want to do with Hungarian, and how you learn best.

How I teach
I’m trained in Comprehensible Input, a more natural way to learn than traditional classroom methods. You’ll always understand everything I say, speak in complete sentences from the beginning, and build confidence along the way.
We don’t use textbooks unless you want to. No grammar drills, no memorizing tables, no being put on the spot before you’re ready. Instead, we read stories (and sometimes write them), use real-life language, and focus on active conversation. We go at your pace and follow your goals and preferences.
My job is to help you find out how you learn best, and then support you on that path. I’m good at my job.

Questions
Do I need to know any Hungarian? No. I teach complete beginners through advanced learners.
What time zone are the lessons in? I’m in Central Time. We’ll find a time that works for you.
What if I need to reschedule? Reasonable rescheduling is free, cancellation is accepted with a 24 hour cutoff.
Can I switch to a group course later? Yes. Group courses start Jan 10, and some of my private students combine both.
